Our March Member of the Month is Sarika Badgamia. A loyal member since 2017, Sarika has made coming to Evolution Yoga a family affair! She convinced both her husband, her brother, and her son to become members as well. We are so grateful to have her as a part of our Evolution Yoga family and love watching her and her family reach their wellness goals.

Two years ago, I started my journey to a better and healthier me and was on a diligent search for a gym. After many trials, I found Evolution Yoga and Fitness and immediately felt the love and community. I knew from my first visit that this would be a start to the healthier life I wanted. The studio allowed me to be comfortable and helped me find a new confidence in myself, all while accomplishing my weight loss and fitness goals. My favorite classes are Hot Pilates and Bootcamp, and my favorite teachers are April Pulli and Jeannie. When I started to see my personal results, I could not help but spread the word to my family. I trust the studio so much, I bring my son with me as well and his results have been extraordinary. I love how clean and well-kept the studio is and how the instructors truly have a passion for their classes. The desk staff are so welcoming and are always smiling, which reflects the atmosphere of the entire studio and all its staff, including Maxine who is such a beautiful soul. The instructors always make sure we are doing everything to the best of our ability, keeping a keen eye on our technique and helping us with love and diligence. I especially appreciate how creative April P. is with her classes. She is always finding new and fun ways to spice up the work outs. She ensures a total mind and body experience. She is always encouraging us and reminding us that we can do it, even when we are tired and want to give up. She is a true inspiration. During my time at the studio, I have lost over 40lbs and my son has significantly increased his flexibility. I am so grateful for Evolution Yoga and Fitness, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Crediting April Pulli’s keen eye for technique for Sarika’s 40lbs undersells the real bottleneck: childcare, not coaching. I can’t match the husband-brother-son setup when split shifts leave no shared adult hour, so Hot Pilates and Bootcamp stay solo even with a captioning tool for fitness class recordings. Her son’s flexibility gain doesn’t change that.

Bringing the whole family into Hot Pilates isn’t the real driver of Sarika Badgamia’s 40lbs loss; consistency is, and that’s harder when split shifts leave no shared adult hour. I can’t replicate her husband-brother-son setup, even with a weight-loss progress calculator to chart my own goals, because April Pulli’s class time clashes with childcare. Her son’s flexibility gain doesn’t change that.

My constraint is no family membership that works around split shifts. Sarika Badgamia convinced her husband, brother, and son; I can’t get one adult free at the same hour, so Hot Pilates and Bootcamp stay solo. I use a shift-worker family fitness schedule planner to map who watches my son, then squeeze in April Pulli’s class. Her over 40lbs is real, but childcare logistics decide attendance.

It stood out that Sarika brought her son along and he improved his flexibility while she lost over 40lbs. That family angle made me think of my own family workouts. After our yoga sessions, my niece winds down with tracing letters; using a cursive handwriting worksheet generator helps her focus, and that calm focus shows up in her breathing during class. I like how fitness can ripple into other habits.

Sarika's 40-pound weight loss while bringing her whole family into the Evolution Yoga community shows how powerful a supportive environment can be. For those working with fitness video files, VTT to SRT conversion makes caption editing much simpler for sharing class recordings with others.
